About Sreedevi Vadhyan
Namaste, I am Sreedevi Vadhyan Prabesh, a passionate and dedicated classical dancer with a lifelong commitment to the art form. With over two decades of rigorous training and performance experience in Bharatanatyam, Kuchipudi, and Mohiniyattam, I have had the privilege of mastering the intricacies of these ancient dance traditions. As a dancer, I have been fortunate enough to perform on numerous prestigious stages and in sacred temples, earning recognition and accolades, including Asian and Indian records. However, as I grew in my craft, I realised that my true calling was not just to perform, but to share the beauty, richness, and spiritual depth of classical dance with others. I want to teach classical dance because I believe that it has the power to transform lives. Through dance, I have discovered discipline, self-awareness, and a deep connection to my cultural heritage. I want to guide my students on a similar journey of self-discovery, artistic growth, and spiritual exploration. As your teacher, I promise to provide a supportive, nurturing, and challenging environment that fosters creativity, technical excellence, and artistic expression. I will draw upon my extensive experience and knowledge to create a comprehensive curriculum that covers the theoretical, practical, and spiritual aspects of classical dance. Together, let us embark on this beautiful journey of learning, growth, and self-expression. I look forward to sharing my passion for classical dance with you and watching you blossom into confident, skilled, and compassionate dancers.
Commencing classical dance training at the age of 3, I have accumulated over two decades of experience. My accomplishments include setting Asian and Indian records, and mastering three classical dance forms: Bharatanatyam, Kuchipudi, Mohiniyattam, Bollywood and Learnt Folk dance (Nadodinritham) also. I successfully completed my Arangetram in 2nd grade and have performed extensively on prestigious stages and in sacred temples. Dancing is an integral part of my being, fuelling my passion and shaping my life.

Face-to-face Bharatanatyam classes are conducted as weekly 2-hour sessions to allow focused, in-depth learning. Online classes are available as 1-hour sessions, depending on the student’s preference and schedule. Please note that the first face-to-face lesson is not free.
