About Suria
Hi, I'm Yasmin, a PGCE and QTS qualified science teacher specialising in chemistry, teaching since 2022. I'm enhanced DBS checked.
As a trained teacher, I know the curriculum and all the main exam boards (AQA, Edexcel and OCR) inside out. I know where students usually lose marks and how to fix it. My lessons are calm, encouraging and structured, with plenty of past-paper practice and clear revision notes.

Friendly, focused online chemistry lessons for GCSE chemistry, GCSE combined science (chemistry) and A-level chemistry, covering AQA, Edexcel and OCR.
Before we start, I find out your exam board, target grade and the topics you find hardest, so every lesson is tailored to you. A typical lesson recaps the previous topic, then I teach the new idea step by step using worked examples, and you finish by practising real past-paper questions with mark-scheme feedback so you learn exactly how marks are awarded. You'll also get clear revision notes along the way.
I cover everything from bonding, moles and quantitative chemistry at GCSE to energetics, kinetics, equilibria and organic mechanisms at A-level, plus required practicals and exam technique.
Lessons take place online and may be individual or in small groups of students at a similar level and on the same exam board. Two one-hour lessons a week give steady, regular progress, which works far better than last-minute cramming.

Details
£100 per four weeks for two one-hour lessons a week (8 lessons, about £12.50 a lesson), paid in advance by bank transfer for each 4-week block. Lessons are online and may be individual or in small groups.
