About Jess
I am a mum of 2 girls, and I enjoy dance, musical theatre and travelling! I love teaching, because I enjoy seeing how much my students progress and grow in confidence. French is such a beautiful and useful language, but too often students find it challenging, and I really love showing everyone how simple it can be!

I use a variety of translation and grammar-based activities to show students how easy it is to manipulate the language for themselves. I have a very different approach to many tutors, and my students quickly grow in both confidence and abilities. I have a proven track record getting students to scholarship standard for a range of top schools, including Eton KS, Oundle and Winchester, and the vast majority of my CE students achieve A/A*.

Having had Jess in my early years of school. I have later received tutoring for my French GCSE. I truly cannot thank her enough for how she brought my French along. Receiving an 8 (1 mark of a 9) in my final exam- it was solely due to her.
Jess taught my daughter French from Y7-Y10. She was fun, engaging and extremely supportive as my daughter found the French speaking nerve wracking. She gave her the confidence, so much so she went on to achieve an A at A'level. She is one of the best!
