About Victoria
I was an assistant professor of Spanish at the University of Southampton for three years. In this position I was responsible for planning, designing and delivering conversation classes.
Since November 2015 I am an English tutor for children and young students in the city of Seville. Besides offering English classes, I have given support to children aged 9 to 10 with subjects like social sciences or natural sciences taught in English in bilingual schools. The number of students I have had throughout the year has increased (currently twelve) thanks to the recommendations of parents who are very pleased with the classes and the results obtained.

PhD graduate in Modern Languages (University of Southampton) with Postgraduate Diploma in Secondary education in the specialty of Languages (University College London) and teaching experience offers private English lessons for children, young and adults (up to C1 level).
I offer English lessons as well as support with other subjects like social or natural science taught in English in bilingual schools. I also offer classes for exam preparation B1 for obtaining the degree, for the First Certificate and IELTS exams such as TOEFL and.
In my lessons I follow the communicative approach and from the start I include activities to practise and improve conversation skills, without neglecting the writing and reading skills. Given the age and needs of students, classes can include games or other task-based activities, as well as a variety of resources and authentic materials. My goal as a teacher is to make students feel comfortable and encourage them to actively participate in their learning and gradually develop their abilities to learn independently.
