About Sakineh
It's an honour for me to have 28 years' experience of teaching Persian literature and language in schools and universities both inside and outside of Iran to overseas and home students and am currently teaching in the Iranian school in London. I am able to explain and interpret a variety of classical and modern pieces of Persian literature such as Masnavi, Golestan, Shahname etc as I have taught all of them at university. My method of teaching involves using books recommended by the Iranian education system for teaching Farsi to interested Persian and non-Persian speaking individuals and teaching level ranges from beginner to advanced stage. My education background includes BA of Persian literature from Shahid Beheshti University, MA of Persian literature from Payamenoor University with honours, MA of information and library management from Liverpool John Moores University, PhD of Persian literature from Tehran Azad University with top mark. I have written a book achieving Iranian Association of Writers reward, as well as a couple of articles at ISC journals. In my style of teaching, the emphasis is on speaking, reading and writing in the sweet language of Farsi. On some occasions grammatical and structural aspects of the language can be discussed in advanced courses of learning Farsi.

I teach a range of students from complete beginners to advanced learners. My methods differ based on the needs and the style of each student, it can range between covering books, sharing clips, analysing poetry etc. My sessions are all held online, and you will receive all the benefits of face-to-face sessions without the need to travel.
