About Wing Kee

As a holder of a PhD in theoretical physics, I have extensive experience teaching both physics and mathematics as a school teacher and university lecturer for numerous years. My older son excelled in his A-levels, achieving 3 A*s in physics, maths and further maths in 2022. Subsequently, my younger son attained outstanding results, securing 4 A*s in physics, chemistry, maths and further maths in 2023. Currently, they are both enrolled in university, pursuing degrees in mechanical engineering.

About the lesson

Physics is an enthralling subject, yet grasping its concepts can sometimes prove challenging for students. My aim is to provide you with a solid understanding of various topics within the GCSE, A-level, or IB curriculum while enhancing your problem-solving skills for examinations. Mastering physics problems transcends mere equation memorisation and numerical substitution. It involves discovering an elegant approach to articulate physical phenomena or processes and making accurate predictions. My aspiration is to ignite your passion for physics by delving into and appreciating the underlying principles of our elegant universe, from the interactions of fundamental particles to the mechanisms governing planetary orbits. Through my lessons, I endeavour to bolster your confidence in physics, enabling you not only to comprehend the subject matter but also to navigate the intricacies of examinations, ultimately securing a commendable grade.

I know Wing Kee as he helped me get an A* in A-level physics. I think Wing Kee puts a lot of effort into making good informative lessons. He took time to teach me how to tackle difficult exam questions by breaking down the topic in question and helped me learn the key pieces of information I needed to fully answer the question.

I thoroughly enjoy my physics lessons with Wing Kee. He is patient, knowledgeable, and explains concepts with great clarity. His use of practical examples makes the material easier to grasp, and his well-prepared study resources — including carefully selected past exam questions — have significantly improved my problem-solving skills. I highly recommend Wing to anyone looking for an excellent physics tutor.
