About Tommy
I have just completed a PhD in Quantum Computing at the University of Birmingham which used a variety of tools from across Maths, Physics and Computer Science. I have taught a variety of University level Maths and Computer Science courses, along with teaching maths and computer science at A-level at a local college. I have previously tutored GCSE and A-level students in Maths, Physics and Computer Science.

I believe that going through exercises and past papers with someone else is the best way to study STEM subjects. During our lessons (which will be an hour long ideally but other lengths can be discussed) we shall start by having a mini-lesson on a topic, then spend most of the session going through example questions. I will give you the chance to attempt it yourself before I explain the solution in detail. I have previously tutored for 2 years, I was a teaching assistant for many university-level modules during my PhD, and I was a Lecturer in Computing and Maths at a sixth form college. My undergraduate degree was in Maths and Physics while my PhD was in Computer Science and so I can teach across all of these subjects. I can teach GCSE, A-level or University level.
