About George
Having successfully navigated the GAMSAT and been offered a place to study medicine I am well placed to help my students through the humanities sections of this huge beast of an exam. I scored 75 in Section I and 84 in Section II and will be able to help you to develop the confidence to improve your scores across these sections. This will be through a focus on Section II, timed essay writing, which will give you the foundation upon which to develop your Section I score as well. I was trained in Philosophy by the late Professor Sir Roger Scruton who was my MA supervisor. I achieved a Distinction, receiving the highest mark in the class. I also write for online magazines who pay me for my words. I am a working class son of a London taxi driver, if I can develop the techniques to score in the top 0.1% of the GAMSAT SI & II, I can assure you that I can help you do the same.

I teach predominantly to students looking to excel in Section II of the GAMSAT examination, but also for anyone looking to write well. I develop my students' essay writing abilities by helping them understand the flow and rhythm of the written word. I use predominantly free resources to aid my students in their search for their most suitable style of writing, taking them through many different possible approaches to writing a clear, coherent and successful essay. Lessons are generally for one hour but I am happy to take longer bookings closer to exam time or on request.
