About Ruby
I am a philosophy graduate from the University of Edinburgh, I have a very high success rate with my students both improving their grades and gaining confidence in English. I have taught English as a first language abroad and have taught GCSE/ A-level/ IB English literature and language for over four years so am familiar with a range of content and syllabuses.

Every lesson is different, depending on the learning style of my student. The lesson structure often begins with a recap from the previous lesson, followed by introducing new content and going through exercises and exam-style questions to make sure the content has been understood. However, sometimes students might also want lessons to review and edit coursework, practice exam techniques or develop reading and writing skills.
