Philosophy PhD from Cambridge, teaching all levels and areas of the subject.

I have been having tutoring in philosophy with Johannes for 2 years, and have also taken part in a summer reading group he ran, and I cannot recommend him enough. Johannes is an exceptional tutor that goes above and beyond for his students. He is knowledgeable and qualified to the highest standard, having completed his PhD at Cambridge. He is excellent at explaining and breaking down issues, and is quick to understand where students may have gone wrong. He is kind and encouraging, and genuinely cares about the subject and his students. He is also flexible and understanding, and can work easily around your schedule. People like him are hard to find and any student will be in safe hands.

Johannes is an incredible teacher, and a wonderful person. I have been his friend for 15 years and have watched him teach many students from diverse backgrounds and ages. What sticks out, is Johannes' deep knowledge and love of his subject, and his care for his students. He clarifies difficult concepts using relatable examples and clear explanations. He genuinely enjoys teaching Philosophy and brings joy (and awesome jokes) to all of his lessons. I couldn't recommend him more!
