About Caitlyn
Hello! My name is Caitlyn and I am a qualified Teaching Assistant with experience supporting children in primary schools, particularly with phonics and early reading.
I have worked closely with young learners in Reception and Key Stage 1, helping them develop confidence with letter sounds, blending, reading, and spelling. During my time supporting phonics groups in school, many children made excellent progress, with some moving up two phonics groups as their skills improved.
I am passionate about helping children feel confident and enjoy learning to read. My lessons are friendly, patient, and interactive, using games, reading activities, and structured phonics practice to keep children engaged.
I tailor each lesson to suit the child’s ability and learning style so they can make steady progress and build strong reading foundations.
I look forward to helping your child grow in confidence and develop a love of reading.
