About Aparna
Hi! My name is Aparna and I am a grade school tutor in physics, math, and computer science. I am currently an undergraduate student at the University of California Irvine, majoring in Physics/ Computer Science and Engineering. As a student myself I have gone through several periods of confusion or lack of understanding with a topic. But I find that gaining a thorough understanding of the topic and overcoming the issue is extremely rewarding a creates a strong foundation for future subjects. I can’t wait to help you out on your journey too!

When working with a student it is important to identify the parts they do and do not know. I then use what the student knows to bridge the gaps and thoroughly understand what they are struggling with. Typically when a student says they are struggling with a certain topic I will make sure to make myself an expert on the topic before the lesson begins. From there, I’ll help the student in their journey to a thorough understanding of the subject. To finish the lesson off, I will assign the student some practice to do so that they can apply their understanding. I am looking to work with elementary, middle, and high school students.
