About Thomas
Widely praised for his exceptional musicality and depth of interpretation, Thomas Luke is an award-winning pianist whose performances have been broadcast on national television and radio.
Thomas was the keyboard category winner of the prestigious BBC Young Musician 2020 competition. With a multitude of accolades to his name, he has been awarded first place in the Iris Dyer Piano Prize at the Junior Royal Academy of Music and has been recognised by the Vienna International Music Competition for possessing "outstanding talent, a remarkable musicality and a very accomplished technique".

I feel very strongly about the transformative power of music and am passionate about helping others from all walks of life access this too.
An adaptable, patient and methodical teacher with a thorough approach to students' progress through weekly lessons (online or in person).
I took ABRSM grades 1-8 plus a diploma myself in my earlier years, so am familiar with this system and would be happy to teach it if desired; however I do not believe that exams are the only way to progress and am very happy to teach whatever works best for each individual student. I have extensive professional concert experience, having performed solo recitals, concertos and chamber concerts in renowned venues such as London's Wigmore Hall.
Above anything else, I believe that music lessons should be fun and inspiring, and should allow the student to freely explore their individuality and creativity.
