About Tessa
My passion for piano began through admiration for melody, harmony, and live musical expression. This interest inspired me to complete a Bachelor’s Degree in Piano Performance and Contemporary Music Studies, where I explored keyboard techniques, performance methods, and music theory in depth. During the past 4 years, I have guided students through lessons focused on creativity, confidence, and musical growth.
I believe every learner develops differently, so I adapt my teaching methods according to each student’s pace and musical style. My approach focuses on patience, encouragement, and practical guidance to help students improve naturally without unnecessary pressure. Some learners improve through repetition and structured exercises, while others gain confidence through creative activities and musical exploration. I carefully shape lessons to create a supportive and motivating musical environment.
Outside teaching, I continue exploring piano compositions, modern performances, and music education resources to keep my lessons engaging and inspiring. Staying connected to music allows me to bring creativity and practical understanding into every class. My goal is to help students become confident pianists who enjoy expressing themselves through music. Supporting their artistic growth remains one of the most rewarding parts of my work.

My piano lessons focus on helping students develop strong musical foundations while improving confidence through structured and enjoyable practice. I teach note reading, rhythm control, hand coordination, scales, chord progressions, finger exercises, and musical interpretation using supportive and practical instruction. Lessons are designed to help students understand musical patterns naturally instead of memorizing movements without meaning. I create a relaxed atmosphere where learners feel comfortable practicing and improving steadily.
Each lesson is personalized according to the learner’s experience level, musical interests, and pace of understanding. Beginners receive patient support with posture, rhythm exercises, and keyboard familiarity, while advanced learners strengthen technical control, expressive performance, and musical creativity. I include listening activities, practice routines, musical exercises, and recital preparation to support balanced artistic development. Students preparing for performances receive focused guidance for confidence and stage readiness.
I believe piano becomes more enjoyable when students connect emotionally with music and practice consistently with encouragement. My lessons help reduce nervousness and replace it with confidence through supportive teaching and regular motivation. Many learners gradually become more expressive and technically skilled over time. My goal is to help students build strong piano ability while enjoying the process of making music.
