About Isabella
I teach all levels of piano up to grade 8. I have been teaching piano in person for two years and am currently studying music at bristol university. I have grade 8 in piano and grade 6 in tenor saxophone. Whether youre looking lessons ready for a grading or looking to start from scratch, I will guide you with the same advice which has lead me to performing at university level

My lessons are pupil lead meaning based on the pupils own wishes and aspirations for piano playing.
For beginners, I teach through the ten fingers books to get the basics, then look at easy pieces that the pupil is interested in (such as christmas music or disney songs) before looking at grade 1 pieces.
For more experienced pupils, I teach effective ways of practising, analysing and performing music.
The pupil can decide the focus and direction of the lessons, which I teach in a practical methodical way. I never criticise mistakes as I believe that mistakes are part of learning and focus on what can be better rather than what went wrong.
