About Wesley
My piano teaching approach blends structure with creativity. I focus on building strong fundamentals in technique, theory, and reading skills while making space for personal expression. Lessons often include work on chord voicing, rhythmic grooves, and playing by ear to help students become confident and well-rounded musicians.
For those interested in jazz improvisation or modern styles like pop, gospel, or funk, I guide them through groove-based playing, syncopation, and exploring unique textures. I enjoy helping students learn how to accompany singers, improvise over progressions, and create rich harmonic sounds. I adapt my teaching style based on each student’s pace and interests.
Whether you're preparing for a graded exam or playing for personal joy, I’ll help you stay motivated and reach your goals. My lessons are flexible, supportive, and built around real musical examples. I also use simple rhythm games, ear training, and call-and-response exercises to keep things fun and interactive.

I’m a piano tutor with over 7 years of experience and a Bachelor of Music Education with a Voice Focus. I bring rhythm to life in every lesson, making learning piano fun, energetic, and groove-driven. Syncopation, rhythm patterns, and tight grooves are at the heart of my teaching.
I love helping students explore jazz voicings and creative chord progressions. We dive into rhythmic variations that make music exciting and expressive. Accompanying singers is one of my favorite skills to teach, helping students feel the pulse and support the melody.
Whether you enjoy pop, funk, gospel, or a mix of styles, I tailor lessons to match your musical taste. We focus on playing by ear, improvisation, and adding your own personal flair. My lessons balance theory with hands-on practice, so learning feels natural and inspiring.I also include fun exercises, rhythmic games, and groove-based challenges to keep you motivated.
