Hi, I’m Pippa! I am 27 years old and I am currently in the final stages of completing my PhD in Neuro-oncology at the University of Nottingham. I have a passion for biology, particularly human biology and I really enjoy translational scientific research.
I took Biology, Chemistry and English Literature at A level and went on to study Biological Sciences specialising in Physiology and Pharmacology at University, prior to completing a Masters in Immunology. I am therefore able to tutor biology to 'A' level and biology and chemistry to GCSE.
I have mentored and taught a number of undergraduate students throughout my PhD and have participated as a teacher in a number of undergraduate practicals. I am approachable and encouraging, however most importantly I am patient. I really enjoy simplifying complex material to something more easily understood and can therefore tailor to each student.
I offer friendly and relaxed lessons to students, tailored towards what the student requires so that they can achieve their desired grades :)
