About Ophelia
I am an experienced French tutor with 4 years of dedicated teaching experience, working with high school and college students across different academic levels. My teaching philosophy is centred on personalised learning, where each student receives lessons designed specifically around their strengths, challenges, and goals. I believe that language learning becomes truly effective when students feel supported, confident, and motivated. My lessons focus on building all core language skills—speaking, listening, reading, and writing—while developing a strong understanding of grammar, vocabulary, and sentence structure. My approach to teaching French is guided by Accountability, Integrity, Flexibility, Communication, and Positivity. Along with French, I guide students in related subjects such as spoken skills, cultural awareness, translation basics, exam preparation, and vocabulary enrichment. My positive mindset creates a friendly atmosphere that encourages students to learn without fear.
