About Von Ryan
I am 54 years old and father to three sons. Retired from government work for about seven years where i held government positions in planning and disaster management. I am drawn to making art, nature exploration/ preservation and philosophies. I am good at articulating on philosophical ideas and make art based on those ideas.

I can write essays and poetry using english and tagalog languages. During college days, i was a member of the College Editors Guild of the Philippines and also the Esitor-in-Chief of our school organ. I dwell on political topics, social issues, poetry, agriculture, philosophy and art. I was one of the top 10 haiku writing contest awardee conducted by the Japan embassy in collaboration with the University of Sto. Tomas in Manila. My primary language is tagalog and fluent in it as i have lived in Manila for many years.
