About Thais
I am a Brazilian who was born and raised in Brazil. I am a nurse by profession but I decided to move to Australia and later on to London, to follow my dream of travelling the world. I started teaching Portuguese in Australia and I have fallen with it because I love meeting new people, learning about new cultures and learning about new languages. I am very excited and am looking forward to our lessons together!

I incorporate authentic Brazilian materials—including music, videos, and literature—to provide cultural context and make learning engaging. Lessons typically run 60-90 minutes, tailored to each student's pace and learning style. Each session includes review of previous material, introduction of new concepts, and dedicated conversation practice, followed by personalised homework assignments. My classes accommodate all levels from complete beginners to advanced speakers, with specialised options for business professionals, travellers, and those with specific language goals.
