About MEGHA
I am a science graduate with an undergraduate degree in chemistry, environmental science and Botany and a post graduate in life sciences. I am currently a working research scholar.
I have two years of teaching experience. Being a teacher and a student at the same time has given me interesting insights into the process of knowledge transfer from teacher to student. I identified a gap during this process.
Formal education does not "teach" the concepts to the students, they just introduce it and that is why many students resort to memorization instead of actively learning the subject.
Unlike formal, teacher "teaching" student experience. My class would be informal, interactive and mainly focus on you learning the topic instead of knowing it and center around problem solving.

I teach science to students of all levels, ranging from school children to college students of undergraduate and post graduate level.
Learning is quite different from studying or reading. In my class, I would make sure you actively learn the subject, instead of knowing it.
Usually, I take out of box approaches to teaching. Unlike conventional methods of learning, my teaching would encourage higher order learning by:
-Inquiry based learning,
-Mind map construction,
-Interconnection of concepts,
-spaced repetition
-and encoding into long term memory.
My job as a teacher wouldn't end with introducing the topic to you. My aim is to make sure you learn the concepts, understand deeply to an extent where you can apply logic to problem solving.
Studying is boring, but learning is fun. Check out my class and science would no longer be hard.
