My teaching method is derived from personal experience and practised techniques. I gained these mentoring my peers and direct employees within multiple roles over the last six years; as well as through my direct experience on the learning side of prestigious academic institutions. Having said that, I like to provide a positive learning environment, with a hands-on approach. That means I ask questions of you after we cover the information in the most involving way I can deliver it to you, which may be through live diagram drawing and brainstorming; or it may be through a discussion based on what you already know in order to further push your understanding of a topic; or it may be something else. With regards to the questions aspect: I find that challenging people constantly on what they know in order to allow them to reach the conclusions themselves helps in multiple ways. Firstly, it helps develop your confidence in your ability to learn and understand new concepts and ideas; secondly, it reinforces these concepts and ideas in a way that repetition simply does not; and thirdly, it helps me to understand where knowledge or understanding is lacking and what I need to do in order to help you get there!

So, the rate here is for GCSE level chemistry tutoring. If you want me to provide higher level tutoring, I can! It will be priced at £12/hour up to A-Level and then £15/hour for BSc level chemistry tuition
