About Urania
I was born and raised in Northern China, where I developed a deep appreciation for my native language and culture. As a native Mandarin speaker, I bring a clear and standard accent, ensuring that my students learn authentic pronunciation from the very beginning.
I have pursued language studies from my undergraduate through my postgraduate education, with a strong focus on both theoretical and practical aspects of language teaching. My coursework included subjects such as second language acquisition and teaching methodology, which have equipped me with a solid foundation in the principles of effective language instruction.
In addition to my academic background, I hold an International Chinese Teaching Certificate, and I have extensive practical experience in language education. Over the years, I have worked with students of various ages and proficiency levels, building strong rapport and fostering a supportive learning environment.
My open and cheerful personality helps create a relaxed and enjoyable classroom atmosphere, where students feel comfortable expressing themselves and engaging with the material.
