About Amina
I have been teaching primary school aged children since 2015 and know the primary curriculum well to teach children up to Year 6. I have experience in teaching mostly 9-11 year olds, however I am able to teach younger children also as I have taught children between ages 5-8. I am well aware of the set backs that Covid has created for some children and understand how they may need extra support to assist them with their school work. I understand how to support children of all abilities in Maths/English/Science/History/Geography at Primary level as I do this on a regular basis within my classroom setting. Before tutoring, I would assess where your child is at to tailor the tutoring for them. I have some knowledge of teaching children with special educational needs as I have had training in a SEN school and can also speak Bengali/Urdu to help bridge the gap for children who have English as an additional language.
