About Lexy

I have 15 years primary teaching experience and love to work in practical ways to help you achieve your best. I have 5 years experience in Year 1 preparing children for the Phonics screening and I have planned and taught English and Spag across all year groups, from Year 1 to Year 6. I love to read and like to share that love of reading with learners.

About the lesson

I have experience of all year groups across Key Stage 1 and 2 and would like to help you achieve your best in Reading and Writing. I love to adapt my work to help students achieve their best abilities through either practical activities or written work. Each concept will start by reading a part of a story or whole book depending on the learner and the book. We will then work together on different tasks around the book to help build ideas and writing fluency. I will sometimes set a small writing task for homework, where appropriate, which we will go through in the next session, looking at either ways to up level the work or to help address misconceptions from the task.
