About Julia
I was born and raised in Rio, Brazil. My love for fitness has been there since childhood when beachgoing was a daily ritual. In my teens, I fell in love with figure skating where I dedicated myself to over 20 years. With that, Pilates came about. As a skater, your core is extremely important. So having a strong core coupled with flexibility and strength of what Pilates teaches is essential. I have throughout my career kept my love for Pilates together with some strength training from a figure skater and dancer’s perspective.

My lessons focus on core fundamentals. Slow movements using body mechanics and weight to strengthen stabilizing muscles.
I work the entire body every meeting. I strongly suggest a daily exercise journal to help understand what works and what needs attention.
