About Spencer
I have only been teaching for about a year, but many of my students have enjoyed working with me and have found they have learned and grown a lot by playing the violin. I have worked with beginners and have taught them from the very beginning, and have also helped other musicians refine their technique.

Currently studying with Professor Monte Belknap at BYU, I teach violin lessons of my own to students in Sandy and in Provo, Utah. I am passionate about music and strive to help my students discover and nurture love for music and for their instruments. I focus my teaching style on balancing development of technique with distilling a sense of excitement for learning how to play the instrument.
