About Matt
I am a professional Audio Engineer and Musician. I have First Class (Honours) degree in Music and Sound Recording from the University of York. I was trained as a Recording Engineer at the prestigious Dean St Studios in London. I am passionate about using my knowledge and expertise to help students in their studies.

I believe I have a focused, individualised and creative approach to teaching; tailoring the session to fit the individual's levels and learning goals. I specialise in tutoring GCSE and A-level Music Technology and Production. I also provide teaching and mentorship to students wishing to develop recreational or career-yielding skills in music production. I have extensive experience teaching young adults at all levels and helping them realise their potential in a supportive and encouraging environment. Sessions are taught at my North London-based studio or online, whichever suits you best. As a professional Recording and Mix Engineer, I enjoy applying current industry working practices to the syllabus; providing students with extensive and long-lasting skills well beyond their studies.
