About Katie
I have taught ballet using the Vaganova Method (one of the 5 global classical styles of ballet education and curriculum) for the last 12 years. I have been employed by various reputable academies/conservatories throughout my career. I abide by the belief that dance instructors must know the technique of the craft, be excellent communicators, professional in relationships, instill classroom etiquette in students, and care for the student’s physical as well as mental wellbeing.

I believe dancers must learn how to activate movement properly, through understanding of anatomy via muscular and skeletal structures, in order to excel in their craft. Ballet is a well preserved art form, and I have a passion for passing on beauty and grace.
