About Don
I began working in full symphony orchestras and attending advanced music school in 1990. I'm a multiple scholarship and medal-winning violinist, and have toured parts of North America as both a violinist and a violist, doing classical music and rock music, as well as working in recordings and movies. I currently hold the position of Concertmaster of the Vancouver Philharmonic Orchestra, the B.C. Handel Society, and work in other professional orchestras locally and online for soundtrack work.

Based on your musical goals, we will create short term and long term lesson plans, and every lesson you will demonstrate for me what you've been working on, I will help you improve and continue that work while adding something new to keep things interesting!
As long as you practice regularly doing what I teach you every week, effective progression on your instrument WILL happen!
