About Anderson
Hello I'm Anderson, a graduate from the English Education Department of Atma Jaya University, Jakarta. Since 2013, I have had the passion to teach English to students of all ages (elementary students to professional adults) for various goals. I have also taught and developed learning materials at several universities and companies: both state-owned and private institutions (eg Atma Jaya, Jakarta International College, BCA, KPK, Ministry of Education and Culture, Canadian Embassy). Recently, I was involved in a pre-departure program for Papuan students who received scholarships to study in the US. As a teacher, I believe that we should never stop learning, so I actively participated in many training programs. Some notable programs are held by US Embassy like English Teacher Camp EPIC 2017 & 2018 and APT Teacher Training 2019. I have also had invited train trainers or volunteers how to deliver English instructions. With all this experience, I am certain that I can provide you with fun yet meaningful English lessons. I offer a wide variety of English lessons to students of all levels (A1 to C2) and ages (Kids, Teenagers, and Adults): 1. General English - Four Skills (Listening, Reading, Writing, Speaking) 2. Conversational English 3 English for Specific Purposes (Academic, Business, Journalism) 4. Test Preparation (IELTS, TOEFL iBT, TOEFL ITP, TOEIC) 5. School Curriculum 6. Tailored English lessons [Note: Grammar, Vocabulary and Pronunciation are integrated in the lesson. ] There are three main principles of my English lessons: 1. Communicative: Students are expected to constantly communicate in English in both spoken and written forms. 2. Meaningful: I will link my linguistic knowledge to our lessons so you can understand the basis of English grammar and vocabulary with less memorization. 3. Feedback: Students will always receive feedback / comments on their work.

- Despite the intensive nature of the IELTS course, Kirana managed to keep up with the materials and practice tests given over the course of one week. Kirana was also able to absorb the materials with much ease. Indeed, it is evident that Kirana still has a lot of potentials to explore in regard to her English proficiency. Anderson is one of the best person you can get as a tutor. What I admire about him is how knowledgeable and professional he is, and one most important thing is how good he is in simplifying many complicated redundant explanations, to be something we can grasp easily.
