About Will
Since a very young age I have been making films and one of my favourite parts of directing is working with actors. I am still a working director but source huge amounts of joy in nurturing talent and sharing my depth of experience with those who share my passion for cinema and the acting craft.
I find the more I pass on knowledge, the more I learn about working with talent.

Because of my first-hand experience directing talent, I understand not just what a director wants from an actor, but also how you can become the cinematographer's dream subject to capture, the editor's favourite character to cut to, and the producer's next project hire.
Yes, I believe that the key to success as an actor is not only giving a great performance, but also making everyone involved in the production happy. Why is that? Help the editor and you WILL increase your screen time. Help the cinematographer and you WILL get a stunning reel. Help the producer, and you will get more work. Help the director, and you will help yourself and reach new heights in your performance and career.
I am not your text-book acting coach. You will not be pretending to be a tree or performing strange vocal exercises; instead, you will be taught how to think like an actor, encouraged to challenge yourself, and pushed to excellence.
With my guidance, you'll quickly distinguish yourself among the thousands of unemployed theatre graduates, many of whom have never stepped foot in front of a camera.
And don't worry if you've decided to go your own way and bypassed the conventional education system. I reject the idea that drama schools produce greater actors than those who pursue their own careers. Everyone can act if they learn to think like an actor.
A typical lesson is 60 minutes long, although 120 minute sessions are more useful when including practical work.
I work with students from ages 16+ and I have an enhanced DBS check.
Sessions with myself are tailored to your experience level and last one hour online or two hours in person. Coaching regimens can be tailored to fit your long-term objectives. Following an introduction session, more experienced actors can benefit from future mentoring and feedback appointments, while less experienced actors are invited to participate in courses aimed at introducing them to screen acting techniques and developing skills in this area.
In Person Sessions: I integrate practical, on-camera exercises throughout these coaching sessions. There is nothing better for an actor than being in front of a camera and having the ability to instantly review footage. This also allows you to accumulate a bank of rushes that may be referred to and replayed on subsequent occasions.
Online sessions: Because no practical element can be incorporated in an online session, these are mostly focused on working through current audition pieces, scripts, and discussing your vocation. Sessions provide a secure environment for actors to discuss, learn, and grow as professionals.
