About Callum
I am a driven, well focussed and patient teacher happy to go at the same pace as the student whilst also allowing them to be challenged by different exercises and knowledge.
Everything is catered to what you want to learn and we will always change it up to make lessons interesting and unique.
Leading my own business, I clearly see the ability to get the best out of others and always like to see other students achieving as we were all there once upon a time.

I have been playing guitar since the age of 12; teaching for 8+ years at this point. I teach ages 8 and above of any skill ability. I have qualifications in Grade 8 guitar, Grade 5 music theory, Grade 5 Piano, A-Level Music and a degree in Music Technology.
I tend to teach with a ‘learn by ear’ approach rather than the theoretical approach. I find this is the most efficient way of allowing the student to understand why we need to learn the things we do but allowing them to become an independent musician over the long-term.
Since 2018, I am a self employed full time musician. My guitar tuition is one of three businesses that I currently manage.
I gig around pubs and clubs under the alias of ‘Kewen’ and I have my own recorded music. I also do this with my band ‘Kewen & The Crosswalks’. I also DJ for private and public events under the name 'DJ Kewen'.
I offer outbound lessons at a slightly higher rate. Online lessons are also an option and you can now take advantage of my new block bookings.
