About Ann Davis
I have worked with many students over the years, ranging from ages 3-50 and in between! I most recently held an 8 week workshop in Raleigh, NC for beginner adults in modern dance. Throughout college, I created works each season for performance, and learned how to effectively use collaboration to enhance the creative process for the dancer and choreographer! In 2019, I was awarded a scholarship and traveled to Italy to train in Graham Technique and with members of the Paul Taylor company. I have worked in camps, created for recitals, and love working with kiddos!

I have been a passionate dancer for over 20 years and am excited to bring my lessons to the local area. I am a graduate of UNCG’s Dance program, and currently dancing with a professional modern dance company in Greensboro. I can help with choreography, beginner basics, technique in jazz, modern, ballet, and contemporary, and more! I utilize elements of Safety Release and counter technique to allow for intricate floor work and use of the core to move freely in a space. I can help with solos for performances, or simply honing in skills for practice.
