About George
George Maniadis was born in Thessaloniki, Greece in 1995. He trained in the Aspa Foutsi Dance School, Diagonal Dance School and the International Baccalaureate’s Higher Level Dance Course. He participated in intensive training programs of Classic Ballet, Modern Dance and Jazz Dance in Brenau University, the Orlando Ballet School and the Ailey School in the US. He graduated with a BFA Honors from the Department of Dance at Tisch School of the Arts, New York University. During his studies, he worked with renowned choreographers such as Gregory Dolbashian, James Martin, Sean Curran, Cherylyn Lavagnino, and Vita Osojnik. He choreographed the film Owls, directed by Natalia Bougadellis, which was presented in the 2016 Short Film Corner Festival in the Cannes. He recently closed the International Tour of West Side Story under the direction of Joey Mckneeley and the original choreography of Jerome Robbins. The show ran for about 16 months in approximately 20 countries. He appeared as a lead dancer and singer in the Monsters Live Rock and Roll show in Japan, until March 2018.

I base my classes on gradually developing technique and solving technical issues early before they become habits. I monitor progress regularly and follow a long, medium, and short goal setting approach so that we can achieve realistic and clean milestones while also having endless fun and enjoying all that this amazing art form has to offer.
