About Shafat
I belong to the Jaipur gharana of tabla and am the son of legendary Ustad Nisar Hussain Khan Sahab. I have performed with dignitaries like Kumar Sanu, Jagjeet Singh, Pankaj Udas Ji.
I have also performed in front of honorable PM. Mr. Narendra Modi ji and American president Bill Clinton.
I have over 15 years of experience in teaching students ranging from children to adults and can assure that they will excel in their respective instruments.
I can teach every percussionist instrument (tabla, drum, djembe, Congo, dholak etc.), classical singing and also piano.

1. I teach basic theory and practical songs simultaneously. Ex- You will learn a rhythm first and then we will learn a song based on it. This helps to keep the lessons interesting and enjoyable.
2. I make the students learn their favorite songs so that they have an encouragement to practice further.
3. Practicing is a very important aspect of my classes which is done both during and after the classes.
4. With the experience of teaching for over 15 years, I have understood the techniques and ways of effective learning. I carry a very friendly personality which helps the students to connect with me.
5. I can teach everyone ranging from small children to adults.
