About Jon
I graduated from the prestigious Laine Theatre Arts and then Guildford School of Acting where I have since performed around the world in several musicals such as Cats, Saturday Night Fever and Grease. I have over 13 years of teaching experience where I cater to all ages and genres. I am qualified in ISTD Imperial Classical Ballet where I regularly coach for exams and enter students. I pride myself on being able to create a positive and uplifting environment inspiring the students in an enthusiastic and engaging manner as I love teaching and bringing the world of dance to new or current performers allowing them to feel inspired to be the best that they can be!

I teach many styles from ballet to jazz to musical theatre and for this my teaching methods will vary and then again from student to student. It’s my job as the teacher to recognise how each student learns to allow them to unlock and achieve their full potential. In regards to dance I believe it can be practised by anyone and of any age so I will always tailor each class to look at the fundamental and core techniques of the styles whilst having the freedom to explore and express yourself. Whether your goals are for fun, fitness, audition practice or working towards exams I can work with you to help nurture and build your technique and confidence.

I have known Jon for many years now and always get him to teach workshops for my students. He has a natural ability where you feel safe and supported around him, allowing the students to grow and be nurtured. He has a way to bring out the best in people whilst ensuring technique and precision is achieved and of course that you are having fun. He radiates energy!
