About Roberto
I have been a professional Musician since the mid 1980s. I have been touring and recording with many famous artists and I have recorded in over 80 albums, appeared in several TV shows and gigged all around the world. To name only a few I played and recorded with James Brown, Donna Summer, Pino Palladino, Martha Reeves and the Vandelas, Dave Weckl, Manu Katché, Jason Rebello etc etc. My CV wouldn't fit here, more information about me can be found in Wikipedia and in the Internet. I am a qualified Children Primary Music Teacher and Special needs and Autistic Children Music Therapist although I left my position as Primary school Music Teacher in the late 1980s as it was incompatible with touring and performing in general. During the 1990s I have been teaching in two private music schools in Milan, Italy: NAMM and AMM, I also had always a number of private students throughout the years.

One hour lessons, any age from beginners to Advanced. Basics of embouchure, diaphragm and respiration, tonguing and posture. How to practise proficiently and make a practice schedule, how to become proficient with fingers dexterity, how to approach improvisation and phrasing in Blues, Rock, Bossa Nova, Afro-Cuban, Pop and Jazz. How to select Mouthpieces, tip opening and reeds cut and strength. Understanding Mouthpieces types and how the Saxophone works. How to develop your individual signature tone and phrasing. More advanced work on Modal Scales, triads pairs, side slipping, superimpositions, Coltrane's Changes, Multiphonics. Slonimsky's Thesaurus of Scales and Melodic Patterns analysis and practical uses.
