About Charlie
As a 13 year student of the saxophone, I know the struggles and tedium required for improvement on this instrument. For all its quirks, however, I pride myself on patiently being able to inspire the best out of each student based on their personal goals. Seeing a spark enter my students' eyes when they accomplish something is one of the great joys in my life. Jazz was my first love, but a degree in classical saxophone helped shape my appreciation for that world as well. I will help you be whoever you want to be!

The way I teach changes depending on each student! No two are the same, and everyone has different challenges and learning styles to best help them succeed. I know what to do to get my students to the next level, and I help them get there with as much understanding and passion as possible. Generally, each lesson will contain some kind of technique, sound production, and articulation, and additional information will follow depending on skill level and the students' interests.
