About Gisselle Marie
A bit about me: I started music at the age of 7 and was awarded academic excellence honors for 4 years of music school. I joined the Dominican National Conservatory of Music in 2012, where I participated in chamber music programs and both local and international ensembles. I also had the opportunity to play with renowned artists like Andrea Bocelli, Juan Luis Guerra and Gustavo Dudamel.
At Western Illinois University, I won an international competition and a concerto competition. I am currently an ASU student for a master’s degree in violin performance. At every part of this journey, I’ve had students of all ages to teach classical and pop, seeing them evolve in their instrument and be able to play their favorite songs is such a joyful experience!

My teaching method focuses on creating an encouraging yet challenging environment, where you’ll find motivation to practice and discover what you’re capable of. On the first lesson, we will discuss what you want to accomplish with the instrument, whether you want to focus on classical music or want to learn a list of popular songs, to play for fun or perform for friends and family.
Every lesson will have a warm up, a bit of technique work, and a piece or song to work on. I will also provide you with a practice guide so you continue the process at home. Questions about practicing are welcome at any time!
