About Maia
I am a professional dancer from Durham, NC. I discovered a love for dance at a young age. However didn’t begin training until 13 years of age. My passion for dance is what drives me in the pursuit of my professional career alongside of using my gift to educate young children who may or may not have the advantage to afford dance classes.

My lessons include a foundational teaching of the offered dance styles history and elements. Alongside of building students knowledge on dance vocabulary. My teaching style emphasizes and nurtures confidence and individualism. It’s important for my students to know what dance style they’re being taught as well as who they are as dancers and what makes them unique.
