About Piper
My passion for programming began when I realized how software could turn simple ideas into practical digital solutions. This curiosity encouraged me to complete a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Software Engineering and begin helping students strengthen their coding skills. Over the past 7 years, I have guided learners through programming concepts using patient teaching and structured explanation. I enjoy simplifying difficult coding ideas into manageable steps that help students feel more confident during lessons. Watching students successfully solve coding problems and complete projects continues motivating me as a tutor. My teaching philosophy focuses on understanding, consistency, and supportive learning instead of memorization alone. I believe students learn best when they feel comfortable asking questions and exploring ideas freely.
Throughout my teaching journey, I have worked with students preparing for school assignments, university coursework, and software development careers. These experiences have helped me understand the importance of flexibility and patience when supporting different learning styles. I use practical coding exercises, guided examples, and structured problem-solving activities to help students progress steadily without feeling overwhelmed. I also encourage learners to think independently and understand the reasoning behind their code clearly. Outside teaching, I enjoy exploring software technologies, reading about programming innovations, and working on personal coding projects that strengthen my technical skills. These interests help me keep my lessons practical and connected to modern industry developments. I believe programming education should strengthen both technical ability and confidence in problem-solving. Over the years, I have seen many students grow from uncertain beginners into capable and creative programmers.
