About Ria
I am a social science fanatic with a deep understanding of the impacts such subjects have. I find teaching to be highly rewarding and I love seeing students’ subject knowledge develop. I believe that psychology and sociology are incredibly important subjects to study in society today.

My personal approach to tutoring is student-led. I believe that teaching/learning should be a collaboration. I am open to adapting to the needs of the student and I am great at identifying what areas need developing. I also believe in teaching to the top. High ambitions for all attainment levels is what leads to success. Additionally, I am well-versed in how cognitive science is involved in learning and consistently use my psychology background in my teaching practice to avoid overloading students.

She was excellent at tailoring her tutoring to my specific needs by identifying the areas I needed the most help with in terms of subject knowledge and content, as well as helping to hugely improve my writing structure for long essay-style questions.
