About Georgina
I am undergraduate psychology student at Bristol University, who has just completed an access to higher education diploma in psychology and criminology. I decided to do this course to further my knowledge on the subject whilst I took a year out before university. This access course is in addition to me having an AS/A2 Level in psychology as well having studied the subject at GCSE Level. I have a real passion for psychology and would love to be able to support somebody else in their studies.

I believe my teaching method would be first to go through a topic in its most brief concepts using tools such as posters, notes and powerpoints to ensure that there is a basic understanding. Personally I always found it frustrating at school that there was never enough time to fully grasp your understanding before moving on. Once a topic has been covered I would be able to provide wider reading materials such as articles and research reports to ensure a deeper insight into a concept. This is essential if you are wanting to achieve a higher grade. I also would be able to provide small tests and quizzes to enforce the learning, which also provides the opportunity to top up on any subjects that maybe weren't quite understood. However, I do understand the importance of an individual learning experience and that we all retain information differently so I would do my best to tailor a tutoring session best to the student's needs.
