About Frank
I am a graduate in Social Sciences, Psychotherapy and Teaching. I have taught Humanities to hundreds of young people in the private and state sector, both in the UK and abroad. I helped children and young people to pass "A" Levels, GCSE and SATS for over 30 years. My teaching career was both in the UK and Greece. I have given telephone and online counselling to young people for ten years and been the author of four books in counselling and humour. In my leisure time, I aid young people with mental health difficulties on the Mind site. I am a successful tutor and therapist because of being kind, tolerant, patient and student-focused with respect for all individuals circumstances, regardless of age, gender and their personal challenges.

My counselling is both Integrative and Student Focused. A session always begins with what is on top of the student's mind, with time for feedback from students at the close of each session My chief influences have been Freudian, Gestalt and Transactional Analysis therapeutic approaches. In teaching my specialism is in SEN that includes young people with ADHD, Autism, Dyslexia and students with Mental Health difficulties. My tradition is humanistic and I believe that every young person has unique abilities, talents and potential. My purpose is to encourage the student to fulfil their potential with humour, absolute positive regard, warmth and empathy.
