About Chanelle
I am currently an account manager at an international category management solutions company based in South Africa in search of the next opportunity to make an impact.
My academic background:
* I have a BSc degree in Consumer Sciences and Business management;
* I also have an Honors degree in Consumer Sciences specializing in consumer behavior;
* I form part of the Golden Key Honor society for academic achievements;
* Completed the DotActiv Academy online course for category management;
Other Experiences:
I started my working career as a retail space planner for various accounts such as Spar Pharmacy, Diageos, Winners etc. I've been a Sunday school teacher for 6 years at various churches, have been an au pair as well as handling training manager duties at my current company.
I am a net worker and value relationships and interactions between people and have therefore built up strong relations with various personalities in the industry. I am a young, dynamic and driven person and pride myself in having a high degree of emotional intelligence and empathy. I strive to share knowledge and personal experiences and want to build others and help them grow up a much as possible.

I’ve always been driven by motivating, encouraging and influencing others and I believe by sharing knowledge and personal experiences one can achieve this. I enjoy challenges that require creativity and enjoy working with various personalities. I have a passion for coaching, motivation, leadership, positive thinking, creativity and skills development. I have student-centered approach to learning where I believe that the teacher/tutor’s primary role is to coach and facilitate student learning and overall comprehension of material, and to measure student learning through both formal and informal forms of assessment, like group projects, student portfolios, and participation. I believe that teachers/tutors and students play an equally active role in the learning process.
