About Mara
I worked as a Foreign Language Assistant with the British Council for 2 years. I taught MFL for 5 years (Reception to Yr 11 with odd classes to 6th Form). I have also taught English in Haiti for a year.

I cover 4 skills in my teaching (listening, speaking, reading and writing) as well as grammar. I include a lot of visuals. Whilst I take the time to model the activities, I want to students to have time to practice and encourage them to ask as many questions as possible. This allows me to assess understanding and clear up misconceptions.
