About Kirsty
My passion for English started when I was young through reading, I would get lost in a book, and then couldn't wait to read another. Another passion of mine is horse riding, I have my own horse which I compete on in local shows. I also have a Labrador called Poppy, who has the title of "assistant tutor" as she loves being in the office with me!

I do not believe in a “one size fits all” for teaching or tutoring. Everyone learns in their own way and I pride myself on finding the best way for my students to learn and improve. I aim to install confidence in my students and to help them achieve their goals, whether that be to get a 4 or a 9!
I have been a qualified teacher for 4 years and also an examiner for AQA so have significant experience with the English GCSE curriculum. Equally I have also taught Media up to GCSE level with excellent results.
