About Emma
I have always been passionate about dancing and have loved ballet since I was a young girl. Before I moved for my full-time job in Sheffield, I was a dance teacher in Leicester and worked as a teacher for a dance school there for 7 years. Since moving to Sheffield, I have tutored a student who attended my previous dance school online. We had weekly hour-long sessions for around 6 months and she was awarded a distinction for her intermediate exam.

Whilst most of my experience is centred around the National Association of Teachers of Dancing (NATD) syllabus, I am happy to work with the needs of the student. I can do this by focusing on foundational skills and techniques or by working with a syllabus that they would prefer. Lessons can range from 30 to 90 minutes - with the typical session lasting an hour. Lessons can be arranged weekly or fortnightly depending on the support the student wants. My lessons are for beginners through to intermediate level. I am happy to teach children and adults - please note sessions with young children will have to be arranged face-to-face in Sheffield.
