My Tutoring Approach & Methodology
I believe computer science shouldn't feel like rigid memorization—it should feel like building something real. Because I teach a wide range of ages, my methodology shifts based on the student's developmental level:
For Younger Students (Classes 1–5): I use highly visual, gamified tools like Scratch or basic logic puzzles. We focus on computational thinking—learning how to break big problems down into small steps before we ever worry about complex syntax.
For Middle Schoolers (Classes 6–8): We bridge the gap between visual blocks and real text. I introduce fundamental coding concepts, basic web design, and digital literacy using interactive, hands-on micro-projects.
For High Schoolers (Classes 9–12): This is where we dive into rigorous logic. I focus heavily on core concepts like Digital Logic Design, Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) fundamentals, and C++ programming
The 20/40/10 Rule: A typical 70-minute lesson is broken down into a 20-minute conceptual breakdown , 40 minutes of live, interactive coding or problem-solving, and a 10-minute wrap-up quiz or debug challenge.
